Our company

After our marriage in 2019 we found a seventies Minolta in one of our regular thrift spots in Switzerland. Thus began a years long affair with film photography. We love the suspense, the imperfection, the rawness of it. It was only a matter of time before we made it official and started our business, uniting our love of love and our passion for film. We can’t wait to deliver your own story to you. We shoot in the Flathead Valley and across Montana, from quiet elopements in Glacier National Park to full wedding celebrations on Flathead Lake. Clients who work with us can expect an unhurried, warm experience. We get to know you before we ever pick up a camera, so that when the day comes you feel comfortable, seen, and free to simply be present.

Why film?

Grain & tonality

Film renders light in a way that digital sensors simply cannot replicate. The gentle grain, the smooth highlight roll-off, and the rich shadow depth give every frame a painterly quality that feels alive rather than processed.

Permanence of negatives

Your negatives exist as physical objects. They cannot be corrupted by a hard-drive failure or lost in the cloud. A film negative, properly stored, will outlast every digital format we have today.

Intentionality

A roll of 35mm film holds 36 frames. That finite number changes the way we photograph. Every shutter click is considered, every moment earned. The result is a gallery full of images that genuinely matter.

Developed at a professional lab

Every roll is developed and scanned at a professional color lab. The look you see in our work comes from the film itself, the chemistry, and the light on the day. No two rolls look exactly alike.
